Process Engineer (Robotic Paint)

A global leader within the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Paint Process Engineer at their flagship production site in the Atlanta, GA area due to their continued growth and expansion.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for optimizing paint department performance.
This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Guide and develop paint department personnel (robotic technicians, paint techs, etc.
).
Review paint control plan modifications.
Establish and track performance criteria for paint department activities.
Develop test procedures for paint procedures.
Seek out and act on continuous improvement opportunities.
Participate in APQP planning activities.
Required
Qualifications:
Associates (or Bachelors) Degree in Engineering, Robotics, etc.
strongly preferred.
4
years of automotive paint process experience.
Extensive familiarity with (paint) robotics programming and maintenance.
2
years of supervision/leadership experience.
